the last of summer in seattle

our summer here in seattle was short. i'm talking, came early september, left mid september, made one last appearance the final week of september and dove-in a frenzy of freezing, gray-into october. praise the lord i love the crisp fall feeling in the air. the autumn decor is out, and my boots are still warm (from wearing them almost daily!)

during the last little bit of summer andy and i got zero house work done, drank lots of yumminess, i got a new job, and we spent every minute we could out with the dogs. our sweet friends brought this amazing park to our attention. it happens to be walking distance from our house (and they live mere 45 minutes away..hum) and has seattle's *best* view. enter ella bailey (along with other fantastic views from magnolia!):
