lately i've been dreaming of starting my own store. my mama is opening a gallery in yakima and planning on selling a few things outside of the amazing art that (i'm sure) she'll showcase and i simply love the idea of collecting things and selling them so that those opjects can carry on a new history...hum. love.

funny thought: when i was little i wanted to "grow up to be an artist and a collecter" and now...all i want to do is collect things. NOT IN A HORDING WAY, mind you. but in an, "i can make this great and sell it!" kind of way. some things i'd include (and are currently on CL) would be things like this:

crib. to die for. so cute. shiny black or white paint would make this crib extra baby-chic additionally at the price of FLIPPIN' FREE! if my husband wouln't think i was crazy (which i actually would be) i'd go pic this up and store it for a rainy day:)

I haven't done a CL post in quite some time. I think I have two reasons for this"

1. THERE HAS BEEN CRAP CRAP CRAP on CL lately...I live in this great, creative, hipster city full of nothing used to buy...common Seattle!
2. I've been mainly focused on the furniature i need for my own home...Full bed frame, Dresser for guest bedroom, entry way table-crazenda-sideboard-console...etc.

Here's a good-ole CL post for y'all....i'm tryin' here people!

Teak Lamp-$39! If this wasn't so far away, I'd talk them down to $25 and take this home!
