happy list

haven't done a happy list in some time...woops! today i'm making it a happy/thankful list:)

10 things that make me effortlessly happy/thankful

1. via trib brunch for two deal on rulala this am: two breakfast pizzas, OJ and prosecco for $28!
2. sleeping in on saturdays
3. a sunny sunday (4.17.11)
4. a positive, productive and peppy sunday with my husband-dog walks, nap, house work, clean laundry and grocery store.
5. the lasagna i made last week..it's almost ALL GONE. that never happens:)
6. going to see my family this weekend in yak<3
7. 6pack of diet coke for $1.49-a habit i just can't kick!
8. connecting/gaining support from good friends *MB, HC, KT
9. finding a sweater i thought i freakishly misplaced LAST fall time....on our memory support floor...:) it's like shopping!
10. all the help husband gave me on sunday with house cleaning tasks i usually do myself (taught him how to clean the shower and tub=big time score, vacuuming for me=bliss)

i relized i haven't done a list this week (or any posts really...shameful) regarding those sweet then things that make me effortlessly happy:

1. new keurig coffee machine...yum
2. the sun and blue sky today....after days of cloudy, windy, scary rain
3. my new camera (thank you m&d!)
4. when i paint my nails and through the drying process there is not one dig, dent or mess
5. safety from natural disaster
6. a good set of tweezers
7. qt with my husband
8. when what i'm cooking, actually ends up just the way i intended
9. space heaters
10. kelsey working early today so i can actually see her a bit vs. the usual run by "hi!!" while we're both busier than busy!

1. developing a closer friendship recently with my dear sweet hilary
2. having friends over to OUR house to have dinner cook in OUR kitchen...yes.
3. lists
4. taking the dogs on a late night walk with my husband and playing in our neighborhood park, alone with my family.
5. getting birthday gifts days and even weeks after my bday (thank you kimmy, nicole and megan:)
6. the lamp in my living room....the light it gives is so comforting and calm
7. finding a great deal...especially on something needed!
8. cold, clean water
9. the abilty to take photos on my phone...awesomness
10. my generous parents

i've had a strange few days....a weird occurance of....weirdness. luckily there are still plenty of things that make me effortlessly happy.

1. mom and dad spending the night last night-surprise visit! which=chinese takeout which =late night dinner which=extended bday:)
2. mama coming to seattle for my actual bday and hanging out with me while:
3. my kitchen counter tops were installed!
4. chocolate-in general, on berries, on pretzels, on doughnuts, alone, or on chocolate...chocolate on chocolate-yum.
5. good sleep
6. my dog...for alerting me last night of a possible creeper...more to come on this story
7. no snow...even tho everyone is saying it's supposed to snow
8. crossroads on capital hill and
9. the ag jeans i bought there yesterday for all of $17 and in perfect condition...love it.
10. NOT feeling stressed...which is not my current state...however...when it is boy am i happy:)

1. flowers from my husband for valentines day...daisies, lilies, tulips...no roses-good man.
2. chocolate almond cake balls....
3. whatever brand of popcorn i purchased last...it's so so good
4. sunday nights...clean sheet night
5. mini lotions from my aunty...always good to have in the purse!
6. the sound the rain makes when tip tapping against my extremely old windows
7. when finn doesn't wake me up until 5am instead of 330 or 4am
8. a quick work week-last week went by so quickly!!
9. my pandora channel today specifically
10. getting to spend my bro's 21st bday with him next month!

7. the sun-especially when it's accompanied by a beverage, swim suit, and no time limit
8. my mini dog
9. looking at my wedding photos, which i do over, and over, and over again

i've recently started (haven't stopped) obsessing over closely following this lovely blog. these folks seem sweet and live a colorful, joy filled life.

2. reflecting on the most wonderful day o' my life (thus far;)
